We here at Ongig (job description platform) tried using Google+’s Hangouts feature for our Ongig daily huddle call this morning and it was super-easy and fun.
You just go to plus.google (all you need for Google+ is a Google Account (free) and click “Start a hangout” on the right-hand column.
A nice plus — pardon the pun — was that Google lets you add animated reindeer antlers to your head.
It took us a good 10 minutes of making fun of each other before we got into the meeting!
I’m not sure if Google+ as a product will survive, but they definitely nailed the free 3-way call through the Hangouts feature.
